Revis Looks To Shut Down Andre Johnson Again

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) — Darrelle Revis shut down Andre Johnson before, holding the Houston Texans wide receiver to four catches in last year's season opener.

The New York Jets cornerback will try to do it again Sunday when the two stars match up at the New Meadowlands Stadium in a meeting both are looking forward to.

To Revis it's like "Jordan and Bird, or Jordan and Magic" in that it's the "best of the best." Revis is healthy after struggling early with a tweaked hamstring, and Johnson recognizes him as "the best at what he does."

Jets coach Rex Ryan jokingly told Texans reporters that Revis might not play man-to-man coverage on Johnson the whole game, but now says everyone knows "where he's going to be." And, that's following Johnson all over the field.
