With a short week due to the Thanksgiving Holiday, the guys had a lot to get to on today's edition of the B&C Morning Extravaganza and they got things started talking about the latest salvos being fired in the on-going contract negotiations between Derek Jeter and the Yankees.  Boomer & Craig both applaud the Yankees for their position, having already offered Jeter 3-years, $45 million, now they are telling him to either take it or leave it.  So things have already gotten pretty ugly, now the question becomes what happens next.  So the man who once wore the 'C' on his Yankee jersey and his ongoing free-agency saga dominated the opening segment of today's Radio Program…

Plus, an update from Jerry the 'Hasidic Pilgrim', Mets GM Sandy Alderson talks about the future of the club he is overseeing with the guys, Brian Billick get praised by Craig and then interrupted by a call from Mark Sanchez, Eli and Peyton's mother Olivia Manning joined B&C in-studio, the lovely Kristin plays a part in Joe's embarrassment and now has two years of Al trying to wear her down to look forward to, Jerry's Thanksgiving themed Moment of the Day and an 'Attention Grabber' to send you on your way…

Jerry 'Rello' is a big fan of the Thanksgiving Holiday, so he decided to pay homage by donning a Pilgrim hat, which he had a tough time pulling off (proof above).  To his credit, after being told by Craig that he didn't look very good in the hat, Jerry kept wearing it as he plowed through his first update of the day, which concluded with a play-by-play call from last night's Columbia-Colgate game called by Jerry himself 'on the internet'…

Mets GM Sandy Alderson introduced Terry Collins as the Mets new Manager yesterday and today he joined Boomer & Craig to talk about the hire and his plans for a team that has failed to make the postseason since 2006, finishing 4^th place in the NL East last year, 18 games behind the first place Philadelphia Phillies (holla)…

Craig is a big fan of Brian Billick and for the life of him he can't understand how he is not a Head Coach in the NFL.  Instead these days Billick is an analyst for Fox and he seems to like his gig and he is very good at it.  After a glowing introduction the guys talked some football with Billick until Mark Sanchez called in and the Super Bowl winning Coach was put on the back burner.  Coach did hang-on and even chimed in while the guys talked with Sanchez about his 8-2 Jets, his 50 yard 'airplane celebration' and his propensity to orchestrate late game comebacks.

Olivia Manning is the wife of Archie Manning and the mother of Peyton & Eli Manning (and the oldest Manning brother Cooper), so with family ties like that, Al booked her to join Boomer & Craig in-studio.  She talked about Eli and how his upbringing differed from that of his older brothers and what Thanksgiving is like for the Manning's…

When Wednesday rolls around we all look forward to meeting the latest girl Al has invited in to play Do You Know More Sports Than.  Today we met Stephanie, who is a Jersey girl who brought her boyfriend along to protect her from any unwanted advancements from Al.  It turns out her opponent, Joe could have used some protection or at least a little bit of sports knowledge, as he was thoroughly embarrassed and because of that, Stephanie got herself a couple of tickets to a Knicks-Timberwolves game…
