One has too wonder if the poor lighting conditions on Sunrise hwy in Valley Stream contributed to this horrible accident.
Lighting is sparse due to broken down lighting stanctions as well as village and state neglect for over thirty years now??

My deepest sympathy for his family.

the sgt was probably going home from work. fortunately for us civilians cops don’t just work monday through friday 9 – 5. It is a 24 hours a day and seven days a week job … so GOOD SAMARITAN when is the last time you grabbed a gun off someones waste at 2am or grabbed someone climbing into a women’s window aftermidnight… your name should be STUPID LIBERAL … and the last line of your comment should state “ANOTHER STUPID LIBERAL HAS SPOKEN”

I would think that that is non of your business. People need to worry more about themselves and what they are doing then other people.
