B&C Show Blog & Audio: Time to Get Ready

On a cold Tuesday morning in New York, Boomer & Craig opened today's Radio Program by poking fun at one another's choice of clothing, specifically Boomer's vest and Craig 'Garanimals' shirt.  From there it was onto the Jets-Pats game, which is now less than a week away and Craigie is all jacked-up.  When Gang Green takes the field Monday night in Foxborough, both teams will step on the field with records of 9-2 and according to Craig, are the class of the NFL.  Rex Ryan spoke to the media yesterday and compared himself to Tom Brady, due to the fact they both have attractive wives.  We also hear that the aforementioned Brady may have had hair plug inserted in his scalp at the urging of his super model wife Giselle.  So all of the off-field story lines, combined with the great match-up on the field, and Monday night becomes 'must-see-TV' and according to Craig, the biggest regular season game in Jets history.  The Giants will look to build on their 'watershed' moment when they take on the Redskins Sunday and Arizona Cardinals QB Derek Anderson was caught laughing it up on the sidelines during his team's 27-6 loss to the 49ers last night and then cursed his way through his post game press-conference when asked about it.  Give a listen to B&C breaking it down like a fraction…

Plus, Craig wants his cider hot and Jerry likes his updates thorough, the Texas Rangers make contact with Andy Pettitte, John in Hazlet mocks Boomer's vest and Craig the 'Black Op', 'Mega-Boom' 'Courageous-Craig' & 'Super-Junk', Ed Coleman chimes in on the Mets and his blog, Jim Kelly pays the guys an in-studio visit, Jerry delivers his Moment of the Day and an 'Attention Grabber' with the right look…

Craig put an order in for some hot cider this morning and was a little distraught when it wasn't delivered to him in a timely matter.  While he was waiting, Craig decided to take a call from Angelo, who credited Boomer & Craig for Giants cornerback Terrell Thomas' stellar play as of late.  Then we heard from Jerry, who was very long winded today…

There are stories circulating that the Texas Rangers could be interested in signing Andy Pettitte, which would make sense if they think they will be unable to retain the services of Cliff Lee.  The guys dismissed the story, saying that there is nothing to it.  Then the guys broke down the going rate for a good baby sitter…

John from Hazlet called in and decided to pile on Boomer by making fun of his very stylish vest.  Then Craig talked about finishing the game, Call of Duty: Black Ops…

Craig has been very busy writing his book, which has a working title of 'Sex, Lies & Instant Replay'.  The guys also may become the hero's of a comic strip if DC Comics has their way, this after they got a glimpse of the great work by Thomas J. Wallace Design.  The names being thrown around are 'Mega-Boom' & 'Courageous-Craig'.  Now the question becomes what kind of 'super-powers' they will have???  The idea of a 'Super-Arm' & 'Super-Junk' was thrown around and then laughter ensued…

The Mets are apparently interested in adding 6' 10" right-hander starter Chris Young to their staff for next year.  The guys invited WFAN's own Ed Coleman on to find out what he knows about Young and to let him know they don't care for the name of his blog, 'Coleman's Corner' and they'd like to change it…

Jim Kelly is working with the folks from Tostitos and the USO on something called 'Connect to Home Bowl', which gives a chance to our troops stationed overseas to play football with some college football legends and hopefully gives them a taste of home for the holidays.  He joined the guys to talk about the trip, football and getting old…
