1. Oregon (11-0): The Ducks finally take over the top spot in my rankings thanks to their unblemished record, impressive play, and Boise State – and in particular Kyle Brotzman – choking… This week: @ Oregon State

2. Auburn (12-0): The Tigers needed a miraculous second half comeback to knock off rival Alabama, but they did, and doing so kept them perfect. An SEC championship win would seal a spot in the BCS title game… This week: South Carolina (SEC title game)

3. TCU (12-0): The Horned Frogs completed another perfect year as they blew out New Mexico 66-17. Now they sit back and bite their finger nails as they await their fate on championship Saturday… This week: Off

4. Wisconsin (11-1): The Badgers hung 70 points on Northwestern, a couple weeks removed from dropping 83 on Indiana. Those style points are what will give them the Rose Bowl nod in the BCS’s eyes… This week: Off

5. Stanford (11-1): The Cardinal have quietly put together a stellar season. All they do is win, and win big. Andrew Luck proved once again that he’s one of the best quarterbacks in the country as he led Stanford to a 38-0 shutout win over Oregon State… This week: Off

6. Ohio State (11-1): I hope there was no one delusional enough to think that Michigan had a chance to knock off the Buckeyes last Saturday. It was a blowout (37-7) to no surprise as Jim Tressel’s team claimed a share of the Big 10 title… This week: Off

7. Michigan State (11-1): The Spartans survived a fourth quarter scare from Penn State, but held on to win 28-22 in Happy Valley. Much like Ohio State, they grab a share of the Big 10 title, their first in 20 years… This week: Off

8. Arkansas (10-2): The Razorbacks offense keeps proving to be unstoppable. Ryan Mallett and company shredded a good LSU defense in their 31-23 win. A BCS at-large spot is definitely possible… This week: Off

9. Boise State (10-1): Kicker Kyle Brotzman cost the Broncos any shot they may have had at a national championship. He missed potential game winning kicks of 26 and 29 which helped doom Boise State who fell to Nevada 34-31 in overtime… This week: Utah State

10. Oklahoma (10-2): The Sooners showed Oklahoma State that they’re still boss in the great state of Oklahoma. Landry Jones out-dueled Brandon Weeden to help Oklahoma clinch the Big 12 South… This week: Nebraska (Big 12 title game)
