WCBS 880's Sean Adams reports

"I see flavors everywhere I look," Carla Gambescia told WCBS 880 reporter Sean Adams. "I'm really into food and so... I love dogs. I'll see a collie and I'll think, 'Oh, there goes Pumpkin Latte.'"

Gambescia serves up 18 flavors of gelato daily at her Via Vanti cafe in the Mount Kisco train station.

Next to each flavor, there is a photo of a dog in a party hat.

The promotion has been so popular, she's turned it into a calendar.

"January is Yum Rum Raisin and it's this adorable carmen-blue terrier dressed as a pirate," says Gambescia.

All proceeds from the calendars go to Guiding Eyes for the Blind in Yorktown Heights.

Gambescia says, "I really believe that, that business owners... need to give back to the community and part of my whole thing, you know, with the restaurant, I mean, I think a lot of others who own restaurants will say the same thing. What you want to do is you want to make people happy."
