Jets' Cotchery On WFAN: Patriots 'Embarrassed' Us

NEW YORK (WFAN/AP) -- Jets wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery joined Joe Benigno and Evan Roberts Tuesday to recap New York's "embarrassing" loss to the New England Patriots Monday night.

"It's about execution when you're playing the Patriots," said Cotchery. "When you don't execute, it makes you look like the worst team ever.

"When you don't execute and do all the things you're supposed to do, especially when you're playing up there in their place, they're going to take advantage of things and they're going to pretty much embarrass you. That's what they did to us last night."

New England found little resistance, turning a much-hyped matchup between AFC East co-leaders into a 45-3 blowout.

"We have to look ourselves in the mirror, every guy on the team," Cotchery said. "We didn't get it done by any means."

The Jets' veteran receiver isn't sure why the Jets played to poorly Monday night.

"We worked hard throughout last week, I thought the guys were pretty focused."

Cotchery isn't worried about his team heading into New York's next game against the Miami Dolphins.

"I know coach Ryan will get it fixed. He's done a great job of getting us back on track."
