State Police Sgt. Stephen Jones says the bus was carrying 13 teenage students from Rockland County, N.Y., to the Frisch School in Paramus when the driver told troopers she lost control around 7:22 a.m. Tuesday.

The accident occurred in the southbound lanes in Woodcliff Lakes.

Jones says the driver and students were taken to hospitals for evaluations as a precaution. He says the injuries appeared to be minor.

The Frisch School promotes the values and study of Jewish heritage.

The bus was towed away so state police could inspect it and all lanes reopened to traffic by 9 a.m.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.

I always see the crazy Jews from Monsey driving in buses, those guys are truly hazards on the road.

    1. David says:

except the driver wasn’t Jewish. You should probably know what you are talking about before you say something. Just saying.

Micha is right. Many of the drivers should NOT be on the road. The problem is that many of the bus companies are trying to maximize their profits so they are hiring less qualified drivers for reduced salaries.

I think the kids would be safer with Otto Mann from “The Simpsons”.

Report the bus dirver when you see it happen the next time. There is a telephone # on the back of the bus that usually say How am I driving?

    1. Sal says:

I NEVER see a bus company’s phone number on their buses.
      This should be mandatory!

  5. Fred says:

Unfortunately, it is a sad fact that we must put our children’s lives at risk 5 days a week.

  6. Micha says:

I don’t know about this case, but many school bus drivers shoudn’t be on the road- PERIOD, nevermind with children in their care. I see it every morning on my way to work. There is one school bus that does the same thing every morning… they are in the far right lane and at the very last minute they slam on their breaks to get across 3 lanes of traffic to get in the turn only lane. This happenes EVERY MORNING! This driver knows he/she has to be in that lane, but every morning they wait until the last minute … this bus has almost caused an accident many times and I hate to say it, but I am sure it will happen eventually.
