Damien Woody Leaves Game With Knee Injury

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — New York Jets right tackle Damien Woody has left the game against the Miami Dolphins with a knee injury and will not return.

Woody was replaced during the first quarter Sunday by Wayne Hunter.

Woody did not practice all week while he recovered from a sprained right medial collateral ligament, hurt against Houston on Nov. 21. He played in both games since, but was listed as questionable against the Dolphins.

Coach Rex Ryan said Friday that Woody hadn't suffered any setback, but added that the injury "might be a little worse" than the previous two weeks.
