Toys 'R' Us Stores Open 24 Hours For Last-Minute Shoppers
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Toys 'R' Us is about to make life much easier for last-minute holiday shoppers.
With Christmas just over one week away, the retailer has announced that its stores across the country will remain open 24 hours in the final stretch before the holiday.
Beginning on Tuesday, December 21 at 6 a.m. until Christmas Eve at 10 p.m., all Toys 'R' Us locations will be open 24 hours a day, providing procrastinating shoppers with even more opportunity to find the right toys for their kids.
The store will also offer its final two-day sale of the season on Tuesday, December 21 and Wednesday, December 22, offering holiday shoppers savings of 50 percent or more on featured items.
For night owls and early birds, the retailer will have special "Midnight Madness" deals in-store from midnight to 6 a.m. each day, starting at midnight on December 22. The offers will be sent to customers each day via e-mail.
It's the first time that all Toys 'R' Us stores nationwide will stay open for 24 hours a day during the final countdown to Christmas.
