NEW YORK (AP) — Move over, Mr. Big.
The Magnolia bakery has signed a 10-year lease for a new production facility in Harlem.
The bakery found fame on the “Sex and the City” TV show.
The new facility will be used as a distribution point for an online store set to launch in the spring.
Co-owner Steve Abrams tells The Wall Street Journal that the company is in a “growth mode.”
They’re also considering more locations in New York, New Jersey, Washington, Boston, Philadelphia and Chicago.
In February, the Al Tayer Group opened the first Magnolia Bakery outside of the U.S. It’s part of Bloomingdale’s Dubai.
