Man In Wheelchair Rescued From NYC Subway Tracks

NEW YORK (AP) -- A man who lost control of his motorized wheelchair and ended up on the New York City subway tracks before being pulled to safety has been hospitalized in serious but stable condition.

The Fire Department says the man was brought to the hospital along with a transit worker who suffered minor injuries when he helped rescue the man on Friday.

The Fire Department says passers-by saw the man fall to the tracks at the 125th Street station on the Lexington Avenue line and ran to a transit worker for help.
