NYPD: Knife-Wielding Man Shot, Killed By Police
NEW YORK (AP/CBS 2) -- A man who was armed with a knife was shot and killed by police Wednesday night.
Police said uniformed officers received an emergency call and were confronted by the man in Queens around 9:30 p.m. on Shjaler Avenue.
The officers fired their guns and struck the man several times. The man died at the scene.
The officers have been hospitalized for treatment of trauma and minor injuries.
The identity of the man hasn't been released.
