NEW YORK (CBS 2) — The stuntman badly injured during a preview performance of Spider-Man on Broadway is back on his feet.

Actor Christopher Tierney tumbled into a stage pit during the show last Monday, suffering a fractured skull, cracked vertebrae and broken ribs.

Tierney’s father said he took a few steps Friday in a hospital intensive care unit.

The Broadway show cancelled two performances before resuming Thursday with new safety measures in place.
