Hoboken 911 System Temporarily Out Of Service

NEW YORK (WCBS 880/ CBS 2) — Officials said early Tuesday morning that 911 services are temporarily down in Hoboken. All residents should call the police department at 201-420-2100 for all emergencies.

Police said service will be restored as soon as possible.

Hoboken officials told CBS 2 early Tuesday morning there are sporadic outages throughout Hudson County.

However, local telephone carrier Verizon told WCBS 880 there is no malfunction on their side of delivering the service.
