Take Care With Snow Blowers And Shovels!
VALHALLA, NY (WCBS 880) - At the Westchester Medical Center emergency room, they've seen their fair share of emergencies since the snow moved into town.

Dr. David Markenson, an ER doctor, says they haven't had too many hands in snow blowers, thank goodness, but they have had people overdoing it with the shovels.
"You know there are people who know not to exercise above a certain level because of their abilities and their physical condition," Markenson told WCBS 880 reporter Catherine Cioffi. "Yet they go out in the snow which as much exercise as major workout in a gym or major marathon run. So, I think there are some people who've overdone it."
Markenson says if you have shovel, pace yourself and know your limit.
