NEW YORK (CBS 2/AP) – Police Commissioner Ray Kelly was caught in a frightening three-car crash in Brooklyn Wednesday night.
The Big Apple’s top cop was being driven on the Gowanus entrance to the Belt Parkway when a chain reaction crash took place at 8 p.m.
First, a white van was cut off by a red sedan as the lanes merged. The van swerved to avoid hitting the sedan and struck a snow embankment and a road barrier.
Commissioner Kelly’s driver put on the brakes, but the SUV slid into the van and was then struck by a Lincoln Towncar.
There were lots of damaged cars but no one was hurt in the accident. Police said everyone on the scene refused medical attention.

Commissioner Kelly, what were you doing in Brooklyn? I thought your boss Chairman Doomberg forbids any of his “BOOTLICKERS” to venture outside of Manhattan.
