NEW YORK (WCBS 880) — If you play the Mega Millions lottery, it’s time to pull out that lucky rabbit’s foot and wish upon a shooting star because the third largest jackpot ever since New York joined the game will be drawn on Tuesday.

The jackpot has been bumped up to $330 million.

It’s so big, Thelma Alfred told WCBS 880’s Marla Diamond she is actually a bit worried about winning.

“I was praying, please don’t give me a heart attack,” Alfred said.

WCBS 880’s Marla Diamond talks with millionaire hopefuls.

Another Mega Millions player, Lynda Lasky, has a distinctly Manhattan-style dream.

“I would love a one bedroom or for $330 million … I guess I could get a two bedroom!” Lasky said.

No one has hit the numbers since mid-November.
