CUTCHOGUE, NY (WCBS 880) - The next time you’re in China, be sure to try some Long Island wine.
WCBS 880 Long Island Bureau Chief Mike Xirinachs reports
“I was e-mailed this morning and told that our wines were just placed at the Hilton in Beijing,” James Silver of Peconic Bay Winery on Long Island’s east end. “We’re already placed at the Maison Boulud in Tiananmen Square and the China World Hotel.”

Long Island wines are finally breaking into the Chinese market.
Silver says the New York brand is a big part of the reason and adds, “the whole world loves New York, and this is a way to drink it in.”
