NEW YORK (AP) — Police were investigating three fatal shootings in one afternoon on New York City streets — including that of a 14-year-old boy.
He was hit twice in the chest Monday on a Bronx street corner, and the suspects fled on foot.
An hour earlier in Brooklyn’s Carroll Gardens neighborhood, police say a man in his 20s died from a shot to the head and one to the chest.
And in Brooklyn’s Flatbush neighborhood, police say a 25-year-old man died of a gunshot wound to the chest.
Authorities did not immediately release the names of the victims. They did not know the motives for the killings.
