BUFFALO, NY (AP) - There’s a very lucky squirrel in Buffalo.

Anna Haumesser was visiting the Buffalo Zoo last week when a squirrel got inside the tiger exhibit.

Haumesser used her cell phone to video two tigers as they chased the squirrel around their snow-covered enclosure. At one point, one of the tigers snatches the squirrel in its jaws before letting it go.

Another segment of the video shows one of the tigers twice climbing a small tree the squirrel had scampered up. The squirrel falls to the ground, heads for another nearby tree, stops briefly with the tiger in pursuit, then gets behind the tree.

WGRZ-TV, which obtained the video from Haumesser, reports that zookeepers were able to get the tigers into their cages, allowing the squirrel to escape.
