Three Young Women Busted For Selling Four Loko In NJ

MAHWAH, NJ (AP / WCBS 880) – Police in northern New Jersey say they’ve arrested three women for selling the alcohol energy drink Four Loko to undercover officers.

WCBS 880’s Sean Adams reports

Mahwah detectives posing as college students responded to an advertisement on the Craigslist website. They set up a meeting Tuesday near the Ramapo College campus to purchase three cases of Four Loko for $335.

The women, ages 20 to 23, were charged with selling an alcoholic beverage without a state license. They were released pending a municipal court hearing.

Makers of Four Loko and similar drinks combining caffeine and alcohol stopped shipping their products late last year after the Food and Drug Administration sent them warning letters saying their drinks were unsafe.

Where I came from the cops were selling crack (among other nasties), but that’s legal because that’s how they catch users, and if the users buy enough, they can charge them with selling. But no need to formally charge them, either, if you want to confiscate the family farm, all you have to do is say that they were inclined to buy. It’s easy enough to tell whether or not the peddlers are legitimate or cops posing as peddlers, just file a police report and see what kind of action you get. If the cops write you off as a nut that’s been cracked, then you might want to buy your crack somewhere else. If you know what I mean.

New Jersey young cops think that they are God gift to mother earth, that is why there are so arrogant and stupid.

  6. pogo the clown says:

I’ll bet the cops were in full SWAT gear with machine guns when they took down these hard core criminals. NJ police departments now have all this anti-terrorist military gear and look for any reason to play soldier.

Suburban NJ cops are some of the most pathetic people around. Some that I know were bullied as young kids and this their way to now become the bully.

Some of the older officers are still respectful of people – if they pull you over they actually treat you like a human being. But the younger ones – they are scary – they are abusive, rude and cruel and thrive on their power. You CANNOT speak to them. You will speak only when spoken to. Sir, yes Sir.
