Police Seek To Question Man In Brooklyn Shooting Death

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are asking for help in locating a man wanted for questioning in the shooting death of a Brooklyn man last Friday.

Authorities want to speak to 30-year-old Rashawn Blakes about the killing of 23-year-old John Gilliam.

Gilliam was found with gunshot wounds to his torso when EMS responded to 85 Tompkins Avenue. He was taken to Woodhull Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police describe Blakes as 6'1'' and 185 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
