Brooklyn Couple Charged With Hoarding Cats

NEW YORK (AP) — A grand jury has charged a Brooklyn couple with hoarding almost 100 neglected cats in a filthy, rotting loft.

Investigators say that when they found the animals, some were missing eyes and teeth. Others were dehydrated and infested with fleas.

The loft stank of decomposing cat corpses. A handyman who had been inside told the Daily News that the whole block “smelled like a litter box.”

Michael and Hazel Fiore were charged Friday under a state animal hoarding law.

Michael Fiore also faces felony animal cruelty charges.

So sad for these poor animals that can’t help themselves. Why not just contact one of the many animal agencies to help ? Sad, Sad Must be more mental cases !

Haha, reminds me of the Insheeption South Park episode:

    Herder: I’m a sheep herder.
Dr. Chinstrap: It’s pronounced hoarder and yes you are.
    Herder: I’m actually herding sheep.
Dr. Chinstrap: Yes, you are hurting sheep by hoarding them. It’s good you realize that.
