MTA May Cut Bus Service Throughout NYC

NEW YORK (CBS 2) — The MTA was alerting bus riders about possible service cuts.

An MTA committee approved a plan that will reduce the number of buses on 40 routes in all five boroughs.

The agency said it will save $300,000 a year with the cost-cutting plan.

The full MTA Board was scheduled to vote on the proposal on Wednesday.

If approved, the service cuts will go into effect in April.

You must make do with less so that the bankers, corporations and the bureaucrats they control can have more.

How about cutting the big wigs salary for poor performance – next year they’ll find something else wrong

The Service is bad enough here in Red Hook Brooklyn, and they wanna cut more. I think the feds should take over and clean out the MTA Big Wigs

They should clean house. Seems like service has already been cut – 35 minutes to wait for a bus for only a 20 minute ride.
