Another Search In South Carolina For Missing NY Teen

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) -- Searchers are going out again to try and find a New York teen reported missing in Myrtle Beach nearly two years ago.

The Sun News of Myrtle Beach reports as many as 200 searchers could be out in Georgetown County on Saturday and Sunday looking for Brittanee Drexel.

Monica Caison with the CUE Center for Missing Persons in Wilmington, N.C., estimated there could be 100 people on foot as well as all-terrain vehicle teams, 40 horse teams and 11 dog teams.

Dozens of searchers have looked around Myrtle Beach as well as Georgetown and Charleston counties since the teenager disappeared April 25, 2009 after leaving a Myrtle Beach hotel.

Drexel's cell phone transmitted its last known signal the next day near the South Santee River in Georgetown County.
