2 Dead In New Haven Shootings
NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) -- Two New Haven men have been killed and a third man injured in what police say was a shooting at a house known for drug use and dealing.
New Haven police say they responded to a report of a triple shooting Saturday night. Two men, 32-year-old Michael Fernandez and 25-year-old Marquis Sumler, suffered gunshot wounds to the chest.
Police say they later died in area hospitals.
Samuel Maebry, also of New Haven, had gunshot wounds to the abdomen and leg and is expected to survive. Police say the 32-year-old Maebry refused to give information to police.
Police say they are withholding details because the investigation is continuing.
