NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all? According to New Yorker Magazine it’s Mayor Michael Bloomberg.

Bloomberg is featured on the cover of the current issue of the magazine gazing lovingly at himself in a heart-shaped mirror surrounded by champagne and chocolates.

“I thought it was cute,” Bloomberg said. “I’ve said this a thousand times: I like what I see in the mirror.”

WCBS 880 reporter Rich Lamb with reaction from his honor

Bloomberg also said he is pretty proud of himself being one of only a handful of people depicted on the magazine’s cover. President Barack Obama and the pope have also had the honor.

“If I am in that company, boy, I guess I should have a very big smile on my face,” Bloomberg said.

Without a blush Bloomberg admits life for him is pretty good.

“I work as hard as I can and my kids have turned out great,” Bloomberg said.
