Man Wanted In Connection With 3 Brooklyn Sex Assaults

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are looking for a suspect in connection with three sexual assault cases that took place Brooklyn.

Police said the first attack took place on Sunday, Jan. 9 in the early morning hours. The victim told police the suspect approached her, pushed her against a fence, slapped her in the face and then exposed himself. During the attack the suspect attempted to remove the victim's underwear, but the victim fought him off and fled uninjured.

In the second incident, the victim told police she was grabbed from behind and the suspect attempted to remove her clothing. The victim's screams alerted passersby and the suspect fled.

Police said the suspect was interrupted by a bystander during the attack that took place on Jan. 26. The victim told police the suspect pushed her against a fence, and attempted to remove her underwear.

The NYPD released a video and sketch of the suspect, and is warning women to be on high alert.

"There are strangers everywhere," resident Emily Pierre-Louis told CBS 2's Hazel Sanchez. "Someone could always be a victim; someone could always be a predator."

"He's still out here, so you just have to be cautious," resident Ashley Obrero said.

He is described as a white male between the ages of 30-35. He has a medium build, 5-foot-11 and has light-colored hair. He was wearing a dark pea coat with a light-colored button down shirt.
