NEW YORK (CBS 2) – Police said a woman was a shot in Queens early Sunday morning.

Just before 4:30 a.m., police said a woman was shot at a house party at 119th Road in St. Albans.

Emergency crews pronounced the 26-year-old woman dead at the scene.

No arrests have been made.

    She was a very nice girl a beautiful girl full of life & kindness a true friend & it’s tragic what happened & the people responsible for this should be put under the jail!!! Nothing is ever that serious they have no value for human life everybody belongs to someone…she will be truly missed

    Why does someone need to take a gun to a party? You can bring food, some beer, some weed (definitely!), maybe some tunes to add to the mix … but a gun?

    But even if you brought the gun, why shoot someone? “Hey, thanks for inviting me to the party, but your party stinks … BANG!” ???

    Parties are meant to be fun … they’re not meant to get shot at :(
