NYACK, NY (WCBS 880) – The thriving nightlife has become a bit of nuisance in Nyack.

WCBS 880’s Sean Adams reports from Rockland County

Shop owners have given police a litany of complaints – noise, rowdy behavior, vandalism, garbage, and then the simply grotesque – people urinating in the street and getting sick.

Lifelong resident Gloria Franko can attest to that.

“There is vomit,” she said.

WCBS 880 reporter Sean Adams replied, “Vomit, really?”

“Vomit, yeah,” she said. “I’ve encountered puddles of vomit.”

The Journal News reports the police have added more officers to the late night beat and they suggest the village might want to consider an earlier closing time for bars.
