Must See Video: UConn QB Shows Off Insane Accuracy

NEW YORK (WFAN) -- You have to see it to believe it.

Johnny McEntee, backup quarterback for the UConn Huskies, produced a trick-shot video that's so unreal, it's giving the bench-warmer a national following.

In the video, McEntee shows off his uncanny accuracy by swishing a football through a basketball hoop on the UConn campus. Sound easy? He tossed the football across the court -- from the upper rafters.

McEntee hits targets with a blindfold on. He knocks a cup off of a dummy from 40-yards out, he opens the door for his friends with a football, and more.

"I never would've imagined this video getting so popular," McEntee said on Wednesday. "We just kept throwing out ideas and were gonna choose the ones we could do, but it ended up being almost all of them."

McEntee said his motive wasn't to lobby new coach Paul Pasqualoni for more playing time.

"It was made all in good fun," the quarterback said. "The only thing I wish to gain from it is more support for UConn football."

McEntee, slated to be a junior next fall, has not thrown a pass for the Huskies.

Should the trick-shot quarterback be considered for more playing time? Sound off in the comments below!
