Tri-State Area Warm-Up Set For Upcoming Week

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – For the first time in a while, temperatures will hit the average mark on Saturday as snow and ice continue to melt.

The morning started right around freezing at 32 degrees, but temperatures hit 40 later in the day.

Sunday will be breezy and cloudy with a stray rain or wet snow shower possible.  The high temperature will be 41 degrees.

While our area has been battered by snow and ice storms over the last few weeks, relief may be in sight.  On Monday -- Valentine's Day -- the Tri-State will flirt with a high temp. of 50 degrees.  While Tuesday will be a bit cooler, temperatures in the mid 40's are on tap for Wednesday and Thursday of next week.
