Although Boomer didn’t go so far as to say he’ll be “vindicated,” Mets owner Fred Wilpon did. While meeting the media yesterday, Wilpon sounded off on his former friend Bernard Madoff and the lawsuit levied against his family.

Speaking of local franchise owners, James Dolan and Mikhail Prokhorov are reportedly both flying across the country to Los Angeles to meet with the one-and-only Carmelo Anthony. Who will come out on top?
