It’s a Tuesday morning Melo party here on the Boomer & Carton morning extravaganza, as news broke last last night that the Knicks finally managed to pry Carmelo Anthony away from the Denver Nuggets. Craigie loves the deal, saying it’s the greatest day for the Knicks in forty years. Boomer is just thrilled New York didn’t part with Landry Fields.
Anthony is just another piece in the puzzle for this surging Knicks team, but the question has to be asked: what role did Isiah Thomas play in the deal? Craigie doesn’t care much, the bottom line is, Carmelo is on the Knicks. But what number will he wear?
