Man, if I ever even THOUGHT about raising a hand to my mother, I’d wind up in the hospital. She’d have put me there. There are things you do not do. You don’t tempt fate, you don’t make fun of the pope and you don’t hit your mother. Ever. There is no atonement, penance or forgiveness for that.

Mothers are precious and should on no account be assaulted even if they get physical with you. For a son to be accused of the death of his own mother is a red line crossed. Any hope of atonement? I wonder!May her soul rest in perfect peace.
