NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Earlier this week, CBSNewYork filled you in on several Food Truck events popping up in NYC, including celebrity chef Joel Robuchon bringing his french treats to the street.
On Friday, a New York City favorite will be joining in the foodie fun in celebration of International Waffle Day. Wafels and Dinges will be serving up their authentic Belgian waffles free of charge – but there’s a catch.
The truck will provide the free treats only to customers “fully dressed in our Belgian tri-color.” That means red, black and yellow.
Find the truck on 52nd Street, in between 6th and 7th Avenues until 4:30 p.m. From 6 p.m. to 1 a.m., you can head to 7th Avenue and Christopher Street to cash in on the goods.
