NEW YORK (CBS 2) – In the annual Inner Circle charity dinner, Mayor Bloomberg took jabs for the snow fiasco, the hiring of Cathie Black and his relationship with the press.
But it was his jab at the troubled “Spider-Man” musical that started off Saturday evening’s “Meet the Focker-Uppers” dinner in Midtown as he got stuck before touching down.
The show also included a parody of “Mamma Mia,” which became “Mayor Mia” chronicling his rise to billionaire mayor.
The mayor also took time out to be a little serious.
“It is nights like this which make me incredibly proud to do my job and more determined than ever to do it well,” Bloomberg said.
This was the 89th Inner Circle show. Proceeds go to three dozen charities.
