NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — A rainy Thursday in New York City could turn into the day you met Robert De Niro.

The cast of upcoming romantic comedy New Year’s Eve, a sequel to 2010′s Valentine’s Day, will be shooting Thursday evening in Times Square, according to On Location Vacations, a Web site devoted to celebrity sightings.

Along with De Niro, the cast includes stars like Ashton Kutcher, Jessica Biel and Halle Berry. The film, directed by Garry Marshall, follows the lives of several couples and singles in Manhattan as their lives intertwine over the course of New Year’s Eve.

The Web Site also notes several other television series and movies filming in NYC today, including Law & Order: SVU in NoLita, and Men In Black 3 in Brooklyn.
