Ex-NY Hospital Executive David Rosen Indicted On Bribery Charges

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) -- A former New York City hospital executive has been indicted in connection with a federal bribery case against state Sen. Carl Kruger.

A Manhattan grand jury on Thursday charged David Rosen with bribing Kruger and Assemblyman William Boyland Jr. in exchange for favorable treatment in Albany for his MediSys Health Network. All three deny any wrongdoing.

Rosen was fired last month by the health care organization's board.

Eight people are charged with participating in the federal influence-peddling case.

Rosen's attorney, Robert Movillo, said his client looks forward to proving his innocence at trial.
