Police Seek Suspect Wanted In 3 Armed Brooklyn Robberies

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police in Brooklyn are asking for help in finding a suspect wanted in three armed robberies that occurred in the Clinton Hill/Fort Greene section.

Authorities said that in each of the March incidents, the suspect approaches victims, "simulates a firearm" and takes money and property before fleeing the scene.

The latest incident happened at Irving Place and Gates Avenue on Saturday March 19 around 3 p.m.

Police have released a surveillance photo of the suspect, taken from the second incident that took place on March 13 around 7:30 p.m. on Grand Avenue.

The suspect is described as a man in his 30's between 5'9''-6'0'' and 180 pounds.  He was seen wearing a brown jacket, gray sweatshirt and blue jeans.
