NEWARK, N.J. (AP) — New Jersey Nets power forward Kris Humphries missed Sunday’s game against the Miami Heat with a sprained right ankle and bruised heel.

Humphries, fifth in the NBA with 10.4 rebounds a game, was hurt in the first half against the Knicks on Wednesday. He missed his first game of the season on Friday against Philadelphia.

Humphries, who will be a free agent after this season, is averaging 10 points.

Nets coach Avery Johnson said Humphries also will not play Tuesday against Minnesota.
