When the Rangers win, Boomer is in a good mood. When they lose, he is not. It’s as simple as that.

So after a night when the Rangers came from a three goal deficit to beat the Boston Bruins –  and the Blonde Bomber was in the Garden to see it — let’s just say the Booms was flying high, describing his mood this morning as fantastic.

I suspect Jim Calhoun and the UConn Huskies are also waking up with a fantastic feeling after beating the Butler Bulldogs last night 53-41 to capture the school’s third national championship.

The Yankees game against the Minnesota Twins went as scripted, concluding with a 4-3 win for the Bombers. The Mets get ready to head to Philly to take on the Phillies in a three-game set.  So a lot on the table and the guys open up today’s radio program deciding where Boomer’s Blue Shirts fit in to this morning’s discussion…
