Comedian Jay Mohr joined Boomer & Craig in studio just before 9 a.m. — and never left. Boomer and Mohr go way back, having worked together on the Fox NFL Pre-Game Show back in the day. As far as Craig and Mohr, let’s just say they seem to tolerate one another.
The interview began with everyone expressing just how much they like Brandon Inge, then the guys talked about the chaos that is Charlie Sheen and the “Goddesses” he boasts about before shifting gears to the Rangers.
Like Boomer, Mohr was in attendance last night at the Garden to see the Rangers come from behind against the Bruins and he got a kick out of the number of drunk fans at the game, rooting on the Blue Shirts (for the record, Boomer was not one of them).
Mohr also talked about his marriage to the lovely Nickki Cox and tried to explain to B&C why exactly he took her last name. Craig sees it as a sign of weakness, but Mohr didn’t seem to mind, because he is in love.
We heard all about his new comedy act, which includes numerous impressions like Norm MacDonald, Tracy Morgan and Christopher Walken to name a few, and his upcoming appearance on “Law and Order” where he’ll play a Charlie Sheen-inspired character…
