2 Men Found Tied Up & Shot Dead In Bed-Stuy Basement

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police in Brooklyn are investigating a home invasion that left 2 people dead in Bedford-Stuyvesant.

The stepfather of one of the victims arrived to find the home on Pulaski Street ransacked. He discovered his stepson and another man dead in the basement.

Authorities said the two men were tied up with duct tape and had sustained gunshot wounds to the head. EMS pronounced them dead at the scene just after 3 p.m.

Neighbors told 1010 WINS' Al Jones they were shocked by the violence even though they admitted the block was a rough one.

One man said he suspected drug deals were going on in the house where the killings occurred.

"There was all kind of different people in and out. Different guys...was in and out all day long," he said.

Taquan Bostick said one of the men killed was his cousin, who he described as a "family man."

"He has three children and one on the way. He's a married man. He's a good man. He didn't mean no harm to nobody," Bostick said.

Police have not made any arrests and are still on the scene investigating.
