B&C Morning Show: Sterling 'Jones-ing' For A Home Run

The guys introduced the man known as Jerry 'Rello' Recco (ROAR!!!)  shortly after 6:30 this morning and he proceeded to get us all updated on everything relevant that happened in the world of sports last night.

He got things started in the "City of Brotherly Love" where the Mets were anything but cordial to their gracious hosts, the Philadelphia Phillies.  Chris Young made his first start for the Mets and not only did he get get the win, but he also managed three hits, two of them coming in the Mets six run 3rd inning.  Cole Hamels was booed off the mound and this morning Mets fans, led by Boomer & Craig, are celebrating their 1st place team.

The Yankees got a great pitching performance from CC Sabathia, but eventually lost to the Twins 5-4 in 10 innings.  One highlight for the Bombers came when new Yankees outfielder Andruw Jones hit his first home run, which of course meant a new radio call for the long ball, courtesy of WCBS 880's John Sterling. Let's just say it was not received well...
