Firefighters Put Out Early-Morning Blaze At 'Jekyll And Hyde'

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The FDNY saved a popular restaurant from going up in flames.

The fire started around 4:30 a.m. Monday in a basement kitchen of the Jekyll And Hyde restaurant in Midtown.

Most of the damage was limited to the kitchen area.

There were no reports of any injuries.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.
