Jenn Sterger: ‘I’ve Never Met’ Brett Favre; Alleged Text Messages ‘Intimidating’

NEW YORK (WFAN/AP) — Jenn Sterger, the former Jets game hostess who allegedly received inappropriate text messages from Brett Favre, said in an interview aired during ABC’s Tuesday morning broadcast of “Good Morning America” that she’s never actually met the retired quarterback.

“I’ve never met him,” Sterger said. We’ve never met.”

According to Sterger, she received texts from a mystery player in 2008, and it wasn’t until later that she realized it was Favre.

“Whenever I would reply, it was more to try to figure out who I was interacting with,” said Sterger. “It was the same number, always. The texts, the pictures. The voicemails. There was no actual, ‘Hey, Jenn. It’s Brett.'”

She added: “I always noticed that he was looking at me in the tunnel. I just had that gut feeling. I really did.”

Sterger said she realized she “was in trouble” after receiving the alleged below-the-belt photographs.

“More than anything, I feel like it was intimidating,” she said.

In December, the NFL concluded its investigation of Favre by fining him $50,000 fine for failing to cooperate with the process. The NFL said Commissioner Roger Goodell couldn’t conclude Favre violated the league’s personal conduct policy based on the evidence available.

Sterger likened the QB to “that guy at the bar that just could not get the hint.”

Investigators were trying to determine if Favre sent inappropriate messages and photos to Sterger, when both worked for the Jets.

So why did it take so long for her to come clean? Sterger said that’s just the advice she got.

“They said, ‘Jenn, do you like your job?” she said. “Well, if you like your job, and you want to keep it, I’d suggest you just be quiet.'”

Why is this news? Why was she even on Good Morning America this morning? I am so annoyed and tired of these women who are seeking their 2 minutes of fame. You kept talking to him to find out who he was. If you were not interested than you would have told the person stop harassing you and if it continues you will go further legally. Please, give me a break.. And get a life..
