NJ Woman Crashes While Reporting Erratic Driver

TOMS RIVER, N.J. (AP) — A southern New Jersey woman was injured when she crashed her car into a tree while calling police to report an erratic driver.

Toms River police tell the Asbury Park Press that 46-year-old Luisa Fisco was calling 911 on her cell phone when the crash occurred in the Ocean County community around 10 a.m. Saturday.

The Toms River resident was taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, but further details on her injuries were not disclosed.

It was not known what became of the driver Fisco was trying to report. Authorities say the crash remains under investigation.

    well next time you see a crazy driver, just leave them alone and go along with your own business. If that driver wants to get killed, let them! Dont try to stop crazy drivers, let them get into trouble. If that driver causes physical contact with you, then you speak up.

    I also tried to report someone who was weaving in and out and driving real fast to the next cars bumper thendashing around them.They were throwing beer cans out the window.The 911 dispatcher said get a lic. number–I did and she said well there is not a trooper in the area so never mind- sorry cant help you.But yet they can stop a person for going 1 mile over the speed limit and have time to write a 90$ ticket…

    This reminds me of a time many years ago when I was driving on the LIE and some guy was weaving and bumping all over the place, in and out of lanes, on the shoulder, and lurching ahead so drunkenly that I pulled off the road at the next exit, went to a pay phone, and called the police. The answer from 911 was something like, “what can we do about it?” I was so disgusted. Now, with a cell phone in hand, you can bet your bottom dollar I would do it again and tail the stupid jerk until he was apprehended. She was trying to do something good, and it’s ironic she could not succeed. I wish her a speedy recovery. And despite this setback, I hope any of you reading that can handle making a report while driving to do it until all these jerks lose their licenses. Too many good people are killed by reckless jerks behind the wheel.

      The real irony would be if the erratic driver crashed into your loved one, then you would wish someone did something and not mind their own business.

      NJ DRIVERS: TAP ON THE BREAK EVERY 2 SECONDS, SCARED TO ACCELERATE, THE MOST NERVOUS DRIVERS IVE EVER SEEN………EVEN THE MEN DRIVE LIKE 90 YEAR OLD LADIES…..they stop on the oppposite side of the highway when a cop has someone pulled over………..AS IF THE COPS GOING TO HOP THE MEDIAN AND GO AFTER THEM……..BUNCH OF COP LOVING/FEARING PARANOID SUBURBANITES….

      It is sad that the women had an accident while reporting an other driver ,but untill we know all of the facts of what caused the crash we should not be judgemental on what happened.
      To all of the males making negitive coments your showing your your lack of tolerence and inteligence and most of all your age. Remember but for the grace of God it could have been you.

      One of the reasons she might have her Bmer is because she took the time to learn basic grammar and spelling at some point. Not everyone that has money is snotty (which I’m assuming is the word you were looking for). Go back to school.

    That’s why I left the states. Everyone drives erratically in this country, and the women don’t think anything about it, they stick to doing the laundry, fixing meals, and other things that women do well.

    While I am sure the woman driving was not using a hands a free device, she should have pulled over and reported the other driver. If Gov Christie had any brains buried in his large girth, he would not only charge a fine for driving and talking on a cell phone, He Would Add Points to the infraction,
