B&C Morning Show: Knicks Legend Bernard King Joins Boomer & Carton
On the heels of Sunday's Game 1 loss to the Celtics, Knicks fans had their spirits lifted when MSG legend Bernard King joined Boomer & Craig in the Allstate Studio to talk some hoops.
These days, King is working as an analyst on the MSG Network, having been hired along with Earl "The Pearl" Monroe to contribute during the playoffs to the pre- and post-game shows.
King talked about last night's tough loss in Boston, which included some questionable officiating, and what the Knicks' chances are moving forward against the veteran Celtics team. We also learned that Bernard's favorite player in the NBA is Carmelo Anthony, which really comes as no surprise considering their similarities on the court.
Craig also asked King what it was like playing in the short shorts he used to take the court in -- and how come he is not yet in the Hall of Fame, which is, in the morning show's opinion, a joke. After learning that King would be in town for a while, Craig invited his boyhood idol to a dinner date -- a meal Boomer wants no part of...
